NGC 1333

Reflection nebula NGC 1333 is currently the most active region of star formation in the Perseus molecular cloud.  It is a wonderful example of a reflection nebula embedded with an open star cluster.  This object holds hundreds of "young" (less than one million years old) stars, most of which are hidden in the dense dust clouds.
